What I thought was a great idea, appeared to be physically impossible. While finalizing our latest fireplace (project 49.000) we stumbled on this nasty issue.
Have a look at the images. You see the black marker lines? That’s where things are wrong.
Now my faith is, as always, in the hands of my colleagues, among which the world champion in sheet metal bending.
At least the handles turned out nice!
