I am regularly amazed by wood as a fuel. It has many wonderful aspects, one of which I would like to share with you.
Wood is instant fuel. It is a fuel that can remain outside until the very last moment. Only when you need to stoke the fire, do you bring it inside. For the first and last time. Wood doesn’t need processing in a factory or machine. Never mind transporting by boat or through a pipeline.
It is a fuel that is always in view. Especially if you collect it yourself from the woods, then you know exactly where it has come from.
Wood is the purest fuel I know, instant fuel.
