Life on Earth is made possible by a huge ball of fire in the heavens. Fire also made mankind what it is today, as a species. We are the only species that can manage fire.
I would like to take that a step further. All the comfort that we enjoy is derived from fire. For in fact, the word COMFORT is derived from the Norwegian word KOMFYR. And komfyr means a stove or oven with a wood fire in it. How great is that?! Komfyr, an even more comfortable fire.
Incidentally, there is another word a lot like komfyr, campfire.
